BIOS:

Featured Friendpreneur Colleague Harold Nance, Jr., Owner and CEO, It WorX Miracle Products

"It WorX Miracle Products was founded with one mission in mind: to help the world with a natural solution to pain management. It WorX Miracle Products had the most humble beginnings. It was created and forged with LOVE. My sister had a heart transplant on June 27, 2020, and I was NOT going to allow my sister to become a statistic and addicted to opioids. So I began researching CBD. After researching CBD, I didn’t see any negatives, only pros. If combining CBD and essential oils will heal the body, why not incorporate that and heal people? I initially made CBD-butter and used it in food and salted caramel bites, but I then saw that coconut oil was even better than the butter, and just like that, my edibles It WorX Candies formerly known as “Candyman’s Sweet Treatz” was born. Another part of my business is It WorX Miracle Products. My father was complaining about serious knee pain and possibly needing a knee replacement and I urged him to use my infused coconut oil on his knee. He was skeptical at first, and then he stated “I was hoping it‘d work, and all I can say is ‘it works’ and I’m so glad it does.” That was back in January 2021. One day my products will cure cancer. I believe it because Jesus said, “You’ll do even greater things than I” and I’m trusting and believing I will do just that…"

Featured Co-Hosts Bio: Austine and Wanda Bullock, Owner, Energizing Tea Bar (@nutrition.insideoutknightdale)

"We take care of you from the Inside Out with nutritious and delicious meal replacement smoothies! We believe in helping others with healthy lifestyle changes. Our smoothies are full of protein, minerals, vitamins, and deliciousness! We are determined to help you achieve, your healthy goals and lifestyle choices, one smoothie at time!"

We live in a challenging era where crucial federal policies are being reversed in relation to social justice matters and enormous sums of money are being allocated by the federal government for climate and environmental justice. As advocates, activists, and community leaders, we need to understand that we cannot compromise one movement for the other because “Environmental Justice is Social Justice!

“Don’t Keep That Same Energy” Sol Summit 2023 is designed to break down barriers and foster cross-movement collaboration! We aim to strengthen the skills and partnerships required to create the solutions our communities deserve in order to flourish. Sol Summit brings together organizers, community members, elected officials, and the issues in a way that promotes cooperation on solutions to some of our communities’ most urgent environmental and social justice challenges.

Although this is an environmental justice summit, it is also relevant for you if you work in housing, education, healthcare, re-entry, technology, food sovereignty, mental health, are a creative, or any other social justice issue!

Are you ready to spark the change Charlotte and North Carolina needs to create healthy, vibrant communities?
